All classes are held virtually via zoom, audio recorded. If you miss a class you can make it up by listening to the downloadable recording.

 

September - October Session

Eyes &

6 classes | Wednesdays | $120 series

In this class we will be guided literally and metaphorically by the line from Ursula K. Le Guin: Let what you do not know come into your eyes. You’ll learn what your eyes do well and what is challenging for them. You will use palpation, imagery, and gentle movements to invite your eyes to soften so that you can see with less strain. Each week you will coordinate the eyes with a different part of yourself— eyes and shoulders, eyes and feet, for example. Like mixing different colors of paint, each combination yields a different emotional and physical tenor. Lots to discover here!

Long and Strong Back Chain

6 classes | Fridays | $120 series

If I had to recommend only one class, it would be this one. This series organizes the effort along your entire back chain from head to heel. The material strengthens your back muscles, increases the mobility in your spine, and creates more space for your breath.

Sticking with this series for the last couple of months has been life changing. I have so much more awareness of why my body hurts. I can see now how it's all working or not working.

Building your Resource Reserve (FULL)

11 workshops | Second Saturdays | $220 | 9:00 AM — 10:00 AM (Eastern Standard Time)

In this monthly workshop, you will learn how to develop reliable resources and when to use them. Resources are supportive people, places, pets, (and more) from your lived experience that make you feel good. We’ll come together on the second Saturday of each month to engage the power of your senses, imagination, and time to create a more pleasant and calm state of being. This is a skill that can be refined and grown into a reliable practice. In every workshop there will be time for moving, writing, and visualizing. By the end of the year, you’ll have at least 10 reliable resources (and likely many more) and a consistent practice of connecting with pleasure.
